Initial consults are approximately 45 minutes and this time is spent with our General Practitioner. If you require a long appointment time please notify us at the time of booking. The right appointment type helps keep our Doctors running to time.
We endeavour to run to schedule, however this isn’t always possible.
In order to provide the care that each of our patients require we sometime have to extend our consulting times. We ask that you be considerate of other patients with genuine emergencies or acute illnesses.
If you think that you require urgent assistance on arrival (if you have chest pain, difficulty breathing or dizziness) or you feel that you may contagious (have flu symptoms or gastro) please advise reception staff immediately.
Please be advised that if you arrive late to your appointment you will only been seen for the remainder of your scheduled appointment. If you turn up after your appointment – you may not been seen and therefore you will need to reschedule your appointment.
If you are unable to make your appointment we ask that you give us as much notice as possible by calling the practice. Failure to attend more than 3 appointments in a row may result in you being charged a cancellation fee.
